The tour’s last stop was Pisa. I came here just to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa of course, but the University is apparently the life of the town. The Leaning Tower was intentionally built the way it was because it was built on top of a hill of sand and they knew it’s be sinking. Engineers have fixed it so it can stand for at least another 100 years. The stairs are sunken in because it’s so worn out from the number of people stepping on the marble. It felt like a haunted house with twists and turns except the stairs had to be built that way. The river reminded me of Florence. The town seems a little bit more run down though. We saw the Galileo observation tower though! Along the way were farmlands, Pine trees, Sunflowers, corns talks, and mountains.
